Revved up the embellisher this afternoon and felted together some dyed silk from a scarf I never wore, commercially dyed silk ribbon, organza, novelty yarn and wool roving (from Joggles). I love how the silk crinkles under the needles – none of my scarves are safe, now…or DH’s ties…

Did you paint the peltex first?
Thanks, Micki! I didn't paint the Peltex this time. I forgot to mention that I placed a piece of Kunin felt on top of the Peltex and embellished my fibers onto that.
This piece is lovely! I think also it so nice to use silk with the embeliisher, it´s give so lovley texture. Lovely colours!
