This time I embellished a piece of decorator fabric onto the Peltex, then added pastel colored wool roving on top. I added the FME with coordinating rayon variegated thread. An advantage of working directly on the Peltex is that it acts as a stabilizer for the free motion embroidery.

Thanks for your comment re the Tutorial. So many people are having fun with the embellisher - I feel quite left out. I see you are a fan of Jan Beaney; I use her books all the time. I'm currently following some ideas from 'Stitch Magic'.
