This is a quick flower with satin stitched petals and fused, embroidered leaves on an embellished background (consisting of a painted paper towel, wool roving, a used dryer sheet and Kunin felt).
I jumped here from Flickr hoping you would blog about the background 'fabric' and you have. What a wonderful piece. I think I'd like a whole jacket out of the background material. Margaret
