Embellisher Experiment

This is an embellisher sandwich made from tulle, a single ply of painted paper towel, stamped PFD cotton with black ink (hand carved stamp) and Kunin felt. I needle punched it from both sides. It will make a background for something, I guess...not sure what…had fun, though…

It looks great and it looks like everything held up even with all of the punching.
I used a piece of netting to hold things in place on one of my samples and the needles tore holes in the netting, which was no big deal because it wasn't an actual part of the piece.

Thanks, Micki. I used very fine tulle and still got a few holes, but by the time I flipped it over and punched it from the back, the holes blended right in and were no longer discernable.

the painted paper towels look great! is there something you cannot do with an embellisher??
