Personal Symbols Lesson Three

The object of this lesson was to use painted lutradur to create a Matisse-esque collage using some of the personal symbols created in the beginning of the course. This will be embellished with hand stitching and beads.

This was fun - just like playing with colorforms when I was little!

Conni this is gorgeous, I love Matisse stye shapes and I love your bright colours on the dark ground, I was given some Lutradur to try and I love it, I have just used it for my February journal quilt, sorry I can't post it on my blog as it can't be shown till after Houston in the autumn,

Thanks, Frances and Micki. I love Matisse, too. Years ago, I bought his little book, Jazz – those colorful collages are such a delight to behold…

Frances, what did we ever do without Lutradur???

Micki, have you played with Lutradur, yet? It's the best thing since sliced bread...
