This time, I cut out the center of the felt leaf and embroidered the trellis stitch inside the open space. I'm still having trouble with uniformity of stitches, but I'm having fun, anyway...
Lovely design - I know what you mean about this stitch. I have been researching it generally and it turns out there are about 6 ways of stitching it. One thing is for sure, there is a front of fabric and there is a back of fabric. The front is perfectly vertical whereas the 'back' of the same stitch is zig-zag. Beth Lea :)
